Observations	The rocky intertidal zone has three distinct zones and hosts an abundance of diverse and well-adapted marine organisms.
Explanations	The three main zones of the intertidal area are the upper, middle, and bottom zones. The number of organisms in a zone is greatest the more time the zone is spent underwater.
