Salamander
Location http://commons.wikimedia.org/wiki/Image:A_tigrinum_USGS.jpg
Observations This salamander is resting on a brown leaf. The salamander looks slimy.
Explanations One reason why salamanders are considered to be amphibians is because they lay eggs to reproduce. Some salamanders breathe through lungs, others through gills, and some through their skin. The ones that have gills need to stay in the water to breathe.
